The Motor Coach Museum at Foxton

The Motor Coach Museum at Foxton contains New Zealand's largest collection of trolleybuses. It is privately owned by Ian Little and contains a number of ex-Wellington City Transport and Dunedin City Transport buses. Ian also has a touch of London amongst his collection and still active is 1955 AEC-built RT4189. The museum is open every day except Mondays and well worth a look if you are visiting Foxton - just aim for the windmill and it's right opposite.

101 is an ex-Wellington City Transport 1965-built B.U.T. It is seen parked opposite the museum on 2.10.2004.	107, a 1965-built B.U.T. ex-WCT trolleybus but now used as a smokers area for the pub in front of the bus!	1977-built Leyland Leopard No.179 is a former DCT bus.	393 is 1968-built Leyland Leopard and is seen in WCT livery on 2.10.2004.
408, a 1977 Leyland Leopard is another former WCT bus. It is seen at Foxton Racecourse on 2.10.2004.	A good revving of RT4819 produces plenty of diesel fumes.	Ex-Dunedin Cuty Transport B.U.T. 1965-built trolley is seen inside the museum on 2.10.2004.	Former Dunedin City Transport trolleybus No.76, a B.U.T. built in 1964 is seen leaving the Museum on 2.10.2004.
Former WCT trolley 101 is dwarfed by its London neighbour RT4819.	RT4819 and ex-WCT post together at the Foxton Racecourse.	RT4819 heads towards the Foxton town centre.	RT4819 turns at Foxton Racecourse on 2.10.2004.
